Get to Know Me
I reside in Wall Township, New Jersey with my wife, four children and our dog, Rocky. I met my wife and her two children, Ryan and Sarah in the summer of 2008 and we got married in the spring of 2009. In the fall of 2010 we had our son, Jackson. We love going to the beach and listening to local bands perform. We are also avid soccer fans, including our foster child, Greg, who we met while playing soccer with Ryan. Soon after Greg joined our family. He is our oldest, 25, and is the Warehouse Supervisor for Pegasus Sports and currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina. Ryan, 25, played soccer at Keene State College in New Hampshire and is now a Personal Trainer and Soccer Coach for Soccer Specific Sports in Wall, New Jersey. Sarah, 23, played soccer at James Madison University for five seasons and will be graduating this fall to pursue a career in data analysis designs. Jackson, 13, is a 7th grader and enjoys playing soccer and running the 800m and 400m for track.
I was originally a Fine Art major at the University of South Florida. After realizing my passion for filmmaking I transferred to Temple University to become a documentary filmmaker. While at Temple I combined my love for computer programming with filmmaking and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in New Media. My first job was with Efit.com in New York City where I produced short video segments on exercise and nutrition with the limited technical specifications allowed for online media. This was 2000, the internet was still new and the dot.com bust happened six months after I was hired. I moved back to my hometown, Freehold Township at the same time a feature film starring John Stamos and Daniel London was about to start filming. I began as a production assistant and ended as the production coordinator. The producers offered me a job in filmmaking and I moved to Los Angeles. I worked mostly on independent horror films as a line producer or production manager. During Hollywood's hiatus I would volunteer at Venice Arts school for inner city youth as a filmmaking teacher. This is where I began my love for education.
Within a few years I realized the Hollywood lifestyle was not for me. I became a technical director at TriFi Systems, a small online software company. One of our projects entailed designing an online portal and database for New York City teachers called teacherscount.org. For several months I collaborated with educators about their classroom experiences. I then realized being an educator was my future. I moved back to New Jersey and became a video production, graphic design and fine art teacher at Manchester Township High School in 2005. During the summer I focus on my second job as a company branding specialist. I recently became the brand sales manager for Envy Home Renovations. If you are thinking about home remodeling especially kitchens feel free to contact me.
